'Wasan Milling Company' Sendirian Berhad (WMC) plays a key role in supporting Brunei Darussalam's food security through local rice production. Established and fully incorporated on 17th March 2022, WMC is wholly owned by Darussalam Assets. The company officially took over the rice milling operations from the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food in August 2022, marking a significant step in modernising the country's rice milling capabilities.

Aligned with its growth strategy, WMC further expanded its operations on 1st April 2025 with the introduction of Kandul Operation. It allows the company to be involved across the rice value chain, from planting to processing, thus strengthening the sustainability of local rice production. To date, the company produces two main types of rice.
